Wyeth works with media training clients to deliver compelling messaging that are understandable and resonate with audiences.
He helps clients develop strategies that integrate emerging social media with the practice of public affairs. He is the author of multiple social media studies including “Twitter Trends in 2009 Off-Year Elections: Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts,” “2010 Top Ten Races to Watch on Twitter” and the ongoing “Twitter Valuation Analysis of the 2012 Presidential Campaign.” These studies have been favorably covered by a variety of political trade publications.
Prior to joining Qorvis MSL, Wyeth spent more than a decade in politics as a speechwriter, communications director and campaign strategist. He also served as press secretary to Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Texas. In this role, Wyeth was responsible for crafting messaging for a wide variety of legislative initiatives pending before the House Ways and Means Committee.
Wyeth is a veteran of more than two dozen campaigns in a variety of roles including communications director and deputy legal counsel for the South Carolina Democratic Party during the 2004 election cycle. His experience also includes work as chief speechwriter to South Carolina Governor Jim Hodges and staff assistant for Senator Ernest F. Hollings.
